Creating with Intent.
The test of any reasoning model is strict prompt adherence. I used Uni-1 to generate a sun dial featuring specific text placed at exact times on the clock face, whilst casting a shadow precisely between the words 'Winter' and 'Spring' to signify the new season.
This level of precision allows the creator to dictate spatial awareness and logic within an image. It fundamentally changes the workflow from simply rolling the dice to actively directing a scene, making it an invaluable approach for complex campaign concepts and ad visuals.
Building a Brand System with AI.
Beyond single images, I wanted to see how Uni-1 handled cohesive world building. Taking a single style reference, I asked the model to expand the aesthetic into physical products, including bespoke furniture, a perfume bottle, and a flowing organic script font. It built out a complete mini story while maintaining consistent character features and environmental details.
Most impressively, the system features autonomous quality control. During one generation, the model recognised that a character likeness drifted from my reference image. It automatically rejected its own output and regenerated a better version, a feature that saves hours of manual curation and protects the integrity of the brand system.
